Monroe Community College Downtown Campus

MCC’s recently completed new downtown campus is an exciting and vital part of Downtown Rochester’s ongoing renaissance. Monroe County purchased an existing Kodak building adjacent to the historic Kodak tower to house the relocated College, formerly located in the Sibley Building.

Working closely with the architect and the MCC project team, Heather DeMoras Design Consultants created millwork, furniture and signage designs for this seven-story, 250,000 s.f. building. The new campus houses a diverse mix of classroom, staff, administrative and food service functions. Because of this diversity, selection of furniture was given special attention, in order to address a variety of needs across faculty, staff, and student populations.
