Greater Rochester Enterprise is a not-for-profit company that works to attract prospective businesses to the Rochester area. Their new space was developed under the constraints of a tight budget, a fast-track schedule and the requirement to present Rochester as cutting-edge. A local architect sought the skills of HDDC to overcome these constraints and to develop the “Windows on Rochester” concept, a walk-through exhibit that presents the best Rochester has to offer as a business community. To meet the budget, much of the carpet and ceiling were saved from the previous tenant. New, custom lighting, etched glass panels, ceiling soffits, bold finishes and high-tech furniture sell the Rochester story.
